The Blue and Gold Banquet, our annual awards dinner, is coming up on May 5th.  Reservations must be made by the April 17th pack meeting.

The scouts who were able to scramble on short notice to plant a tree at Byerly Park were featured in a photo in The Hartsville Messenger.

Our Scouting for Food service project is coming up.  We will collect food from the community and give it to the food bank at Hartsville Interfaith Ministries.

Pack tee shirt sales are wrapping up.  These can be worn as Class B Uniforms.  Let Jennifer Blankenship, our T-Shirt Chair, know soon if you need a shirt.

Available sizes for youth are Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Adult sizes are Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2XL, and 3XL.  Adult sizes 2XL and 3XL are $12.00 each; all other sizes are $10.00 each.  Checks need to be made payable to Pack 523 and can be given to Jennifer at the November pack meeting.

Scouts and parents will be selling popcorn in front of Bi-Lo to raise money to support the pack on October 28th through 30th.  Call Christie Jeffords to sign up for a time slot if you don't have one: 758-5141.

If you want to send popcorn to troops who have been deployed, go to trails-end.com and look for the military donation option.  If the top right corner says, "You're supporting no-one," you can enter your zip code to send some of the money to our local council.
